Attorney Profile
Elizabeth Ermel has been practicing law in West Palm Beach, FL since 2001. She earned her B.A. at Vanderbilt University and J.D., cum laude at The University of Miami School of Law. Ms. Ermel's clients are individuals and corporate entities, and her practice concentration is all aspects of real estate transactions and real estate litigation.
During law school, Ms. Ermel worked for the Public Defender in Miami-Dade County, and upon graduation she joined the Office of the State Attorney in Palm Beach County. It was during those years litigating criminal cases that Ms. Ermel developed her trial skills into a specialty and gained valuable experience in the courtroom. Ms. Ermel's prior litigation experience also includes employment as a commercial litigator at the firm Fowler While Boggs Banker P.A. (n/k/a Fowler White Boggs).
While spending her days in the courtroom, Ms. Ermel spent her nights analyzing real estate deals she sought out as personal family investments. Capitalizing on Palm Beach County real estate development opportunities at the time, she became engaged in investing in, selling and developing residential property. It was through experience and success in her real estate endeavors that Ms. Ermel decided to merge her business savvy with her legal expertise. She feels uniquely equipped to represent buyers and sellers of residential and commercial property, distressed borrowers and sellers, corporate investors and developers because she's been there personally and understands real estate problems from the consumer's perspective.
Not a "box-thinker", Ms. Ermel is chided by her colleagues and family for never giving up on a deal or a client. She has a knack for resurrecting transactions that most would leave dead in the water, simply due to persuasive negotiation skills and her never-give-up attitude.
